MR. Azman presented UniKl MFI slides & Ace portfolio.

MEIF explained their 4 WGs (Working Grp):

WG1: Talent Development & Training

WG2: Technology & Productivity

WG3: SME empoerment and Development

WG4: Technology, Mapping & Sustainability 

Mfi interested to join n contribute WG1 as TP (Training provider) & WG2 for consutation job; example keropok lekur project.

Mr.Chan explained abt MEIF-MPC Nexus project where to assist MEIF mfg members improve productivity.academic technology knowledge of lean mfg also been introduced.

Mfi address the concern of no engagement as TP since joining MEIF in 2019 & 2020.

1. Mfi Ace to share some top selling Short Courses (SC) (or as requested) to WG1 course outline.

2. Later on to call Mfi academic SME (Subject matter expert) to sit wt the SME MEIF to formulate the updated SC related to the industrial needs.

3. Endorsed the agreed program (Comprises of agreed SC related to Unikl Mfi and MEIF)

4. Run the training program

The Mfi SCs will be posted in MEIF website.

Mr Azman will discuss in the next mgmt mtg reg Ace mfi membership by taking account the lapses of 2 years membership fees (2021 & 2022) + 2023 either as full membership (rm2k/yr) or affliates (rm500/yr).

MFI suggested to concurrently run SC asap in order to show Mfi involvement & contribution as TP and at same time to draft the MOU/CN - (Hos IL)

MEIF interested to take up  Mfi FYP students to settle actual MEIF member industrial issues.

MEIF interested to take up DeT/Bet/BEM Interns students.
