NIMP 2030 Open Day

Dear YBhg. Tan Sri/ Datuk/ Dato’/ Dr./ Sir/ Madam,

 

I wish to refer to the above matter.

 

2.  We are pleased to inform that the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) is in the midst of drafting the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 as a new policy document that will drive industry transformation towards achieving our national aspirations. The NIMP2030 will articulate a set of comprehensive strategies and action plans to ensure synergies at both the policy and industry levels, particularly in creating supportive ecosystems to help catalyse Malaysia’s industrial development into the future.

 

3.  As part of ensuring a holistic approach in the development of the NIMP2030, MITI has conducted multiple engagement sessions and syndications with the respective ministries and agencies, as well as with the industries to gather input and insights to be incorporated into the draft NIMP. Next, MITI will be organising an NIMP2030 Open Day to allow more stakeholders to be involved in the process and be part of the industrial policy development. Details of the Open Day are as follows:

 

Date : 6 July 2023 (Thursday)

Time : 8.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m.

Venue : Dewan Perdana
