PUTRAJAYA [29 August 2025] – In a major move to accelerate corporate renewable energy usage, the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) has announced cuts of up to 40% in access charges for its green electricity schemes. The reduced rates for the Corporate Renewable Energy Supply Scheme (CRESS) and the Community Renewable Energy Aggregation Mechanism (CREAM) are now in effect, making it significantly more affordable for businesses to source green power and meet their sustainability targets.
