Vivax-Metrotech Corporation, a leading provider of innovative solutions for locating, inspecting, and mapping underground utilities, has announced the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Penang. The investment, valued at RM48 million will create 175 tech jobs and enhance the company’s production capacity to support accelerating global demand.

The facility features 16 assembly production lines and specialised clean room operations. This technological infrastructure enables the company to manufacture a range of precision technologies used in telecommunications, water, gas, and electrical utilities. This expansion strengthens Vivax-Metrotech’s global supply chain while reinforcing its presence in Southeast Asia.
